Stephen Costaglio

Santa Rosa resident Stephen Costaglio is the Culinary Director at Windsong Sonoma, where he brings decades of culinary and leadership experience to the community. Born and raised in Sonoma County, Stephen attended St. Eugene’s Elementary School before continuing his education at Cardinal Newman High School. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family gatherings, which remain one of his greatest passions.

With more than 25 years in the food and beverage industry, Stephen began his culinary career in high-end California cuisine at Fountaingrove Country Club, where he trained under a variety of accomplished chefs and developed expertise in customer service, purchasing, culinary operations, and kitchen leadership.

Stephen later transitioned into the wine industry with Clos du Bois, where he spent 10 years advancing to the roles of Cellar Master and Harvest Coordinator. Following his successful tenure in winemaking, Stephen joined Sho Ka Wah Casino as Food and Beverage Director. During his 10 years there, he successfully managed operations and led a team of more than 100 employees.

In 2021, Stephen joined Sunrise Senior Living and later experienced the transition to Integral Senior Living, where he continues to serve today at Windsong Sonoma and Windchime Marin.

Stephen is deeply passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences and ensuring the satisfaction of residents, families, and staff. His commitment to quality food, hospitality, and community engagement continues to make a lasting impact within the Culinary Department and throughout the community.
