Partnership With City of Petaluma’s Affordable Housing Program

Windsong of Sonoma is proud to be a part of the City of Petaluma’s Affordable Housing Program. Started in 1984, the program serves the entire spectrum of housing needs in the city by partnering with affordable housing nonprofits, developers and communities such as ours. There are 15 spaces in our community that are eligible for the program. 

To qualify for the program, seniors must have an annual income of between $49,000 and $78,000. Based on individual circumstances, rent fees will be up to 30% of their income. While some additional community and care fees will be involved, on average, residents participating in the program can save between 10% and 30% off the market rate of an apartment.
